A few of you asked for a more direct photo of my progress on the Lizard Ridge afghan, so here it is! Isn't it pretty? I finished a couple more squares over the weekend (Super Bowl = good knitting time) so I really feel like I am getting close. I need to start blocking all those squares and trying to figure out how I should arrange them. Any hints from people who have already finished this project?
Also..... eek! Look at all those loose ends!

That is a scary amount of loose ends! I think my favorite block is the one in the upper left corner. Great job!
pretty! i laid all mine out the other day too ... all SIX of them ;)
but, i was still happily surprised at how much space six squares covered.
here's my *theory* on putting them together. decide placement. sew them into strips first, end to end. either slip st. crochet or kinda "graph" them. then sew the long strips together ... matress stitch or crochet again. hmmm ... knitting theory. i'm not there yet, but hope to be soon.
You're making me want to knit that blanket! I love it.
I second the eeek -- those are some ends you got there.
You did TWO squares during the Super Bowl? Amazing - I didn't even get to see the game and commercials because of all the party commotion! Seriously - it looks really cool! I'm quite proud of my one square - only 19 more to go!
Ze blanket looks so good. I'm waiting for a day when a) there is no snow on the ground or b) the temperature is above 0 in order to photograph the squares together. Yours look amazing! I'm attempting to weave in ends during Stitch N' Bitch sessions, but I'm not digging that very much. It keeps me motivated though.
Ooh...so pretty when its all together. I swear you have superhuman knitting speed.
P.S. You are the proud owner of my first official comment on someone else's blog. I figure if I'm going to be a blogger, I should participate in the blogging community! :)
Oh that is LOVELY!!! And it will go with everything! Nice work!
GULP. Wow! The squares look great, and that blanket is going to be gorgeous when finished!
