Yep, it's a new sweater. (I'm actually a lot further along than this. The back and both little sleeves are done.)
Flutter Sleeve is driving me crazy. The top half (above the ribbed waist) is way too long, so I have to rip out a good portion of it, to shorten it up. I already did a lot of the ripping, but I just can't make myself restart it yet. So - new sweater! It's a short-sleeved cardi from Vogue Knitting, Spring 07. Ravelry link.
I also started a really simple cowl, to decide whether or not I like them.
Some people had fun at the Fair...
(Hi Heather! Hi bunnies!)
Some did not!
I really enjoyed it, myself! It was a beautiful day, sunny and warm but not too hot. I had fun hanging out with my knitting friends Heather and Dallas (and seeing even more knitty buddies and random Ravelers), and I came home with some really soft handspun, a skein of beautiful pink and brown variegated laceweight merino, and sheepsmilk cheese!
Window-shopped on South Congress...
Chowed down at the Salt Lick...
Hiked at Enchanted Rock...
Saw Wilco play at Stubb's...
And last but not least -
Goggled at the State Capitol Building.
Before heading back to Springfield, and regular life.....
