It’s the crafty blogger’s annual conundrum: how to continue blogging about my crafty adventures while not revealing holiday presents being made for family members and friends who read the blog? I really hate blogging without pictures, so that makes it even more difficult. This year, I think I’ll just post random pretty pictures and some ramblings to distract you from lack of craftiness.

I’ve got a fairly intimidating list of Christmas gifts I’m planning to make, but I think the fact that I’m already planning out how to get it all done is a positive sign – right? How about you – are you in total denial that Christmas is 6 weeks away? Are you one of those sickening people that already has every present done, wrapped, and stowed away in a specially designated Christmas closet?

  1. I’ve already succumbed to the ramble and a picture solution, it happens every year. Sometimes I post things but pretend they’re for me just to mess with whoever receives them :) Everything that I plan on buying is here or on its way but the “make” list is far too long.

  2. I hav eon hat left to make for Kissmoose. BUT, its’s colourwork. Which I have never done before. The colourwork socks have been ditched in favour of hte hat. The socks were too inelastic….

  3. Indeed, it’s once again that time of year. On Saturday I cranked out 2 little girl hats – they just need blocked & buttons sewn on. I’m about 1/3 of the way done with the family gift knitting – thankfully I’m going with a simple pattern & have work related travel coming up to help me crank through those. (Of course, I’d love to get “my” version of the family knit finished by Christmas as well!)
I’ve also been pretty busy on Etsy & have been bugging the family for wishlists. “Knock on wood…” I feel like I’m fairly on top of it all so far. :)
