No Olympic gold for Zarah
Well folks, that wraps it up for Torino 2006. It was a valiant effort, but the last push on the seaming put her over the edge. She just hasn't trained for these conditions, she's spent most of the season knitting in the round. These seams were just more than she was able to muster in the last few moments of the Games. Not to worry, though. She's still young knitter, and we definitely expect to see her back in 4 years in Vancouver. I imagine by then she will have much more experience in international competition and hopefully a few more sweaters under her belt. This was a fine effort for this first-time Olympian.
