Also, thanks for the all advice on lace knitting and how to wear shawls, err... let's call it a "wrap," shall we? I started over on slightly larger needles and basically caught up to the point where I was before. I think the wrap will be much lighter on the larger needles, anad also go faster knitting-wise.

Have a good weekend, everyone! Don't forget to Knit In Public tomorrow! If you're in the Springfield, MO area, we're meeting at 2pm, June 10th, at Sequiota Park (rain location: Library Station on South Campbell). Bring a lawn chair or blanket and I'll see you there!

We have a little garden this year too. It's doing quite well. I can't wait to see what all you grow!

I'm so excited about the WWKIP tomorrow! I'll be there and so will Owen since Bryan has to work.

I have one tomato plant growing in a large pot on my back porch and I'm so stinking proud of that thing. It's my first attempt at growing anything edible and we already have plans to build a large planter next year. Last night Bryan looked over at me and said, "We grow things! We're amazing!"

Haha, I just came in from watering my vegetable garden and strawberry plants which I just ate the most juiciest strawberry. Your plants are so tall! It is the best thing to plant, watch them grow and eat the freshest tasting fruit and veggies ever.

I really wish the weather around here lent itself to a garden, but we don't have a long enough growing season. Your's looks great and I'm jealous of those tomatoes to come.

Wrap is such a better word! Shawl sounds kind of granny-ish. Your garden looks so beautiful, makes me want a yard.

Fresh grown foods and such are totally the best. i potted a few basil plants last weekend and I've so been enjoying eating the yummy leaves.

I think you made the right move with your "wrap."

Your garden looks great! mmmm, love fresh veggies! I'm so jealous. I have a big back yard, but with all the improvements to the house we have to do a garden would just get trampled. oh, well, there is always the farmers market! : )

Oh, totally I can't stomach fake tomatoes. Uh, I live off of them in the summer (real ones that is)

Hi Sarah!
Your veggie bed looks great! Wish my flower beds were as cooperative. :( Not sure if I'm close enough to see you, but I am in St Louis all this week. Would love to see some yarn shops while I am here and if you could recommend any.
