Casting on

Now I just have to click click click back adn forth on those stitch til I'm done.... just like checking thing off my to-do list. Sometimes I put things on my list after I've done them, just so I feel like I accomplished something!

Anyway, for those of you who asked, I'm knitting the Cambridge Jacket from the Summer 06 Interweave Knits. I just started my subscription to this magazine, and I have to say, so far it does not disappoint!

What's your favorite knitting magazine?

i'm a big fan of interweave. i also subscribe to rebecca, ... though i don't think i fall into that demographic anymore. their designs are refreshing nonetheless. i dropped knitters magazine years ago. i just think they suck. i just think xrx sucks. i adore rowan and jaeger. vogue knitting is very hit or miss with me.

I like Interweave and VK. Both are stylish in their design choices. I want to subscribe to Rowan but I'm waiting for them to come to their senses on the crazy photography and questionable designs. The others like Cast-On & Knitters have so much novelty yarn they make my eyes hurt. The thought of novelty yarn makes me itch.

I like Creative Knitting because the yarns are available and affordable to me and almost all of the sweaters are in a wide range of sizes. Although I like to look at the "designer" projects, there's no way that I'd actually make most of them, especially when the yarn called for is $30 for a 50 gram skein!!!

I love IK, but I also like the Rowan biannual magazines as well.

I love IK. I will pick up Vogue Knitting and at least flip through it if I see it in the store though.

I love rebecca and Vogue. Although I have never made anything from either...

Hmmm... I think i need to go home and flip through them.

I'm an Interweave fan myself. I look through most of the other magazines, but haven't bought one lately. I have so many great projects I want to knit and I haven't found anything that tempts me.

I'm a huge Interweave fan. I also really like Vogue but sometimes they get a little to extreme for me. Re: your previous post SOS was going pretty slow for me for awhile. But suddenly I've finished a lot of projects. So I'm pretty pleased.

I love Interweave. The patterns are pretty wearable, & I love that they put the patterns with the corresponding photos.

I've got a few issues of VK in my magazine pile, but thier patterns usually seems a little too extreme (& challenging) for me. I guess I'm just not a high-fashion girl!

I love IK; VK is pure eye candy -- I enjoy leafing through, but most would look horrible on my 5"1' body.

IK, hands down. Rebecca too, but is not as easy to run into as IK.

I do the same thing with my list to feel like I have accomplished something. Cheater!
